Bernie Sanders revealed AI ‘Doomsday Scenario’ worrying higher experts

The artificial intelligence promises the future of unprecedented production and wealth, but in Senator Bernie Sanders, an important question is not if technology will change the world, but who will benefit from that change. Like the health of the Life of employees’ rights, Sanders see such immediate Ai development as a technical transformation, but as the following war stadium in the fight against the covenant.
In a conversation with Gizmodo, Sermont Senator, revealed that he had just spoken to one of the world’s best Ai experts, and he put his fears that technology would be used to pressure, break unions, and enrich the building. He also shares concerns about his AI impact on our partner partner in our mental health and discussed the “Day of Day” which is high-minded industry that personality is not limited to its control.
Discussion is organized for clarification and formatted as Q & A. All quotes are verbatim and can be controlled.
Gizmoto: Senator, waiting and fought with a worker’s dignity. In the economy you are more common by AI, what should you believe should be a new meaning for a meaningful work?
Sen. Sanders: Yes, that’s a wonderful question, and I don’t know if I can give you a wise answer now, but this is what I’m going to say. What I think is lost in the conversation with a AI is what we’ve seen in the past 50 years: Great increase in human resource production. Almost all the benefits of what is produced go to companies and the Companies that make up that technology. In fact, workers today, the real price increase – fight the payment, they get a little money, and I am so afraid of almost all the new benefits of working. That’s something very troubling.
Therefore, the first point should be done: Technology and AWI is not good or bad. It depends on how it is used, and depending on who benefits from it. Unless we have transformed political power, benefits will be accessed to people above where they do not work. That to me is the most important problem. I want employees to benefit from this new technology, not only the people above.
Historically, I mean forever – human presence – people have had to strive to put food on the table, gardening, meals, to survive. And AI will change all that, and we want to make sure this creates a better and rich future for ordinary people, not just more people.
Gizmodo: According to the protection, what protection is required for American employees to avoid leaving behind this change?
Sen. Sanders: I think we have to make it clear to a structure or another, and some of the unions begin to negotiate this. That if the worker’s productivity is, if you, the work you do now is productive by AI, I want the benefits of finding you.
What does that mean? It can mean a short work week, a 32-hour work week, is what we strive for, without losing the payment. Also, the main point will employees benefit from producing the increase, not just currently, so that is what we should change.
Gizmoto: If the CEO says, “Have I worked for these jobs and I need a few workers,” What answer should I have?
Sen. Sanders: Certainly. Behold, we should see if this technology is beneficial than Deos. So if the company has grown AI allows employees to produce more, we would like to see a short work week without losing money.
Some things I am concerned about, more than economically than the economic loss of job losses, are two of the most important concerns: mental health and well-being.
Gizmoto: What do you mean by that, Senator?
Sen. Sanders: People work closely every day with artificial intelligence, robots. What is the impact of mental health and well-being?
If you spend your whole day in contact with Chatbot rather than talk to friends or family, what happens to you? What kind of problems grow?
We know that in the United States, most teens have a difficult time to communicate with other people because they spend a lot of time on the Internet. And there are people out there, honestly, that are in technical world, who say, “Look, if you can’t make friends, if you’re very lonely, go to Chatbot and you can start a friend there.” I’m not sure this is good for people.
Gizmoto: There is a sense that people are lost, that AI removes our ownership, our society is in the community …
Sen. Sanders: Well, do you know this statement, “The surgery was a success, and the patient unfortunately died”?
In this case, the system works well. We develop all kinds of technology: You will be able to do this, you will be able to do that. Unfortunately, human creatures will be lost in that development. And they will be more enjoyable, not more sensitive, even more and lonely.
Therefore, we want to make sure of making sure that technology is good for people, economic and emotional. Supposed to be driving festivals.
Gizmoto: Have you talked to the top CEOs or specialists about this?
Sen. Sanders: I’ve talked to CEOs. It’s funny to burn it. I will not burn his name, but I recently received experts for other leadership in the world by artificial, two hours ago.
Gizmoto: Do they share your concern? Do they provide any solutions?
Sen. Sanders: Everything is all different. He did. Someone I spoke to yesterday, not so much.
There is not the same vision. In several major issues. Number First: What impact is you getting in the economy? Some people say there will be lost jobs. I usually agree with them.
Some people say not too much, new jobs will be created. Will be like all other technical changes. Lost jobs, activities made, not so large. So people are arguing. I believe this is not the same as the industrial change. I think this can be too big.
Picture Two: This is not a science fairy. Many, the most knowledgeable people – and I just talked to this today – who is very worried that people cannot control technology, and that transplantation will actually govern our society. We cannot control you. It can be able to give it. That kind of destruction day – and there is some concerns about what is among the most experienced people in the industry.
Gizmoto: Do you have your optimistic or hoping for AI, to workers, in the community?
Sen. Sanders: That’s a broader question. We have the worst President in the history of the United States now.
We see, worldwide, democracy is being threatened. We see a bad war in Ukraine, a bad battle in Gaza. So I think this is not a good time for humanity.
I can hope, anyway – there are UPS and Downs – that we can change this. And among many other things, use the benefits of artificial arts and robots to improve one’s health. To make sure we can turn off poverty. That all of our people can have good quality life. This applies.
The greed of Billionaires to control the process. But ordinary people should control the future.
Gizmoto: One last question: Do you believe AI is likely to be used to strengthen unions and employee rights, or is it for formal staff?
Sen. Sanders: I think of this time is for the host. And I think in some ways is used on how the bad trading policies of the United States were used in the 70s.
In other words, what employers will say: “Look, I want you to take a cut. And if you don’t pay treatment.
So I think we should integrate the organization’s organization for military restraints to employees’ rights.
