Thirty years, one leader – Eritres hope that their hopes are disrespected
As soon as being respected as a new generation of African leaders in Africa, Eritrea’s president, who just stopped 32 years in power, and dilled long ago expectations.
Isaiah AFWWERK now uses a lot of his time in his rural housing in the hill of 12 miles) from the capital, in Asmara.
Cabinet noted since 2018, all power flowed, and as a mighty person they found the rope of local officials and foreign officials.
It is a magnet of ordinary Eritres who hope Isaiah can help them with their problems.
The 79-year-old has never dealt with elections in the power of three decades and there is a little sign of that quickly change.
But things looked so different in the 1990s.
Isaiah was 45 there, as a master leader, Elple of the liberation (EPFLE) defeat Ethiopia in 1991. Those who fight in the war were remembered for a year to die for the day of faith, in June.
Sound and love, he inspired myself at home and in other countries.
In 1993, a formal freedom, Isaiah was reflected in the international stage as head of condition for the first time.
It was Cairo, where he attended the conference of the continent, that he set the old generation of African leaders who “wanted to live in the years”.
He has studied Eritrea that he would never repeat the same false order and promised a democratic order to reduce social and economic development of his people. His situation conquered him and moaned Eritrans and diplomats alike.

Riding for the first years of independence and enjoying the approval of foreign lands, Isaiah looked for the west and western relationship.
In 1995, after inviting Eritrean leader at the Oval office, US President Bill Clinton pointed to thank the country’s way to Mount Democracy.
Eritrea recently began to write a new constitution that is expected to establish legal law and democratic program.
Isaiah had to be “President of Transional” until the Constitutional government is elected. The new constitution was allowed by a study meeting in May 1997.
But just as Eritreans and the world were waiting for the National Election in 1998, war broke out between Eritrea and neighboring Ethiopia over the opposing border.
Isaiah was accused of using war as a permanent defense reason.
He had promised a multiparty democracy plan and his decision was examined after a peace agreement was reached in 2000.
His several ministers, including close friends in the fields – in the arms, began to request conversion.
In the open letter issued in March 2001, a group of senior officials, later known as G-15, blamed the President of abusing his power and arise. They asked for the achievement of a constitution and national election.

Since the ages of 1990s, eritres tasted some freedom, with emerging newspapers carrying serious words – including the ruling party, renamed Democcacy and Justice (PFDJ).
The National Convention Meeting decided when elections would occur, the election commission was conducted and proposed by political party laws.
The world seemed to be on a slow path toward democracy.
However, this weak opening was quickly closed in September 2001, while the world’s attention focused on attacks 9/11 in the US.
One morning, the authorities accumulates all the independent newspapers, sending more critical voices. Many editors and journalists were marred and never saw again.
On the other hand, the government arrested 11 of G-15, including three foreigners, armed forces and several members of the national parliament. They are not seen or heard from there.
Lost the hopes of many eritries.
But Isaiah was far from presenting changes in a democracy.
“I had never had a goal to participate in political parties,” says April 2001.
“I don’t have the purpose of participating in a political party now, and I will not have an intention to participate in the political party in the future.”
He also described a democratic procedure as a “Mess”, saying the PFDJ was not a party. It’s a nation “.
For many, the president would not allow democracy to hold.
The silk of critics and failure to hold elections, found him in the form of his country.
However, his supporters say that he was unjustly referred to as Western nations and honor him as a symbol of national freedom.

In 2002, he did not care to dissolve a change of change intended to respond and he actually did the same as Cabinet in 2018.
Some educators who have no real authorities now lead to weaker agencies, and several services – including defense – live without ministers.
Many wonder why a self-standing warrior has taken that stressful.
Abdella Adem, a circuit ruler and a higher ambassador, says that Isaiah has never believed in the vast majority and has been troubled. HOLD EPFLE with a metal fist even before freedom, according to Mr. Abdella, now living in exile in London.
He is “weakened and eliminated by the true leaders of the public and the reliable evidence cannot force his authority.”
In addition, in May 2014, Isaiah declared the strategies of the Constitution, in time, the Constitution was written in 1997 “died”. But no progress is made since.
The proposal to write the new constitution may be due to COOPOPEt quoted by the military in 2013.
They chase the capital tanks and hold control of TV National TV channels and radio stations for many hours.
Seeing the effort had failed, they tried to distribute a telephone to use the Constitution of 1997 and release political prisoners. But security forces dragged the plug in the middle of middle distribution.
Many authorities – including minister, emperor, diplomats and General – were arrested. The Coup leader killed her avoiding arrest.
Zeraslasie Shiker, a former man who had been, left the post in Nigeria and wanted shelter in the UK. His boss, his ambassador Ali Omereru, Peteran of the military of independence, later arrested and worked.
Governments lock people “As Isaiah AFWWERK is not allowing real political and social institutions or legal”, Mr Sa Raslasie said, now the PhD elevator at the UK university.
“End-established suspension of Eritrea and the fall of public institutions in the Presidency must be understood in this context.”
He is divided into abroad, Isaiah from the globe. He stopped attending the conference like the UN General General Assembly and trade union meetings.

The world economy is “striving”, according to the world’s bank test last year.
“Economic work is terminated by infrastructure infrastructure, limited contest because of Kingdom rule, and strong import controllers,” weaker “.
Isaiah himself admitted problems in the conversation with State TV in December last year.
“The secular economy will not lead us apart. We are not currently better than many other African countries in this,” he said.
Isaiah also refuses to have the help of people, quoting fear that depends on his independence. “
For many Eritrea, especially young people trapped in the national service, administrators who forgive because of a series of conflicts and relationships, daily life is a difficult night. Under the oppressive Kingdom, they face a little future and freedom.
Despite lack of political development and tired of compulsory trust and national violence, many risk their freedom from freedom.
In the last two decades, hundreds of flocked thousands of desert to find a safe place. Eritres currently are the normal third nationality to be given refugee status in the UK.
In a statement of his Freedom Day last month, Isaiah did not give any idea of any change in many Eritries who hope to see. There was no constitution, national elections or the release of political prisoners.
At the same time there was no concrete plan to open the country’s economy economy.
Despite family criticism, President Isaas ends up in the middle of parts of people, especially within the soldiers, the rules of the rules, and those who view him as a symbol of national impact and resistance to the universe.
The President also funded the other in the Diaspora, believing that Western power benefits Eritrea’s freedom.
Since the frustration grew in Eritrea, Isaiah from Asmara in 2014 to his home looking closely.
As Isaiah approaches 80, many are afraid of the possibility next time.
A visible effort of threatening his oldest son is to be successful alleged at the Cabinet meeting of 2018, because where there were no other meetings.
But there is no successful alternative plan or opposition to the country that could place the current regime, leaving many to find it difficult to contemplate the future without Isaiah.
“The Presidency is what holds the world holding up,” warns Mr Zeraslasie.
At this year’s Passover service, Isaiah seemed to curse the cross during the number of church in Asmara. Some believe that he wants to be rescued spiritually, some trust that he can deliver political prisoners.
In the meantime, however, Isaiah still controls, and eritreans continue to wait for conversion.
