We left Salt Lake City to a small town of Texas. Top goods tax was shocked, but the small town vibe is worth it.

  • Lance Koster was ready for work change and believes Texas was the best place to do that.

  • In 2024, he and his family left Salt Lake City a small town of Texas, where he found a nearby work.

  • While kosters acknowledged that they missed to stay in Utah, they said they were happier than before Texas.

This article is based on the discussion with Lance Kopto, 61-year-old pastor, and his wife, Michelle, who moved to Justin, Texas, in Texelle, in Texas, in Texas, in Texas, in Texas, in Texas, in Texas, in Texas, in Texas, in Texas, in 2024.

Justin is a small town of about 40 in the North and the appropriate Fort. According to the latest counting information, the population is 6,197.

The essay is organized in length and clarity.

Lance: In my activities as a plane driver, my family and I were traveling abroad in the country. In 2010, we ended in Salt Lake City and stayed there for 14 years.

We loved Salt Lake City. Its world crashed, especially the mountains. We were always skiing, bicycle, or tents. And when we had a lot of family there, we became friends many.

However, we had to make changes. The work was a little bit hard, and my walk started to increase. I spent a lot of time away from home.

My wife and I find an elder, and I was ready to slow down – I wanted to be home at night and not on the street. I thought it was best to replace future plane training and came, which gave me a stable program.

Throughout my work, when I trained, my family and I were spending some time in Texas. There are a few places for large jet areas of the government, so I knew that there would be opportunities to be a planra.

My family and I are always clean in Texas. Every time we visited, it’s fun. When it was finally time to make changes, it was the most logical place.

We have moved to a small town of North Texas

Lance: On June 2024, I found work as a planning airloom at the Dallas-Fort Fastic International Airport. In September, we bought home in Justin, just an important northern.

It’s a small town, but it grows rapidly.

Many people who live in Justin have lived and worked here for their whole life, so it is actually not comfortable for them that there is fast rapid growth. However, we have nothing but delicious experiences.

Our home in Justin is 3,500 square feet and has five bedrooms and three bathrooms – enough for my wife, and our two young sons. We live in a new home-based homepage.

We love our neighbor a lot. It has bigger and small, deserving.

My wife’s mother lived with us in Salt Lake City, and when we moved to Texas, we wanted to find a home with a mother-in-law, but we were very lucky.

Therefore, we decided to buy a larger home that would fit with four, and a small home of my fatherly, and in the same place. Now you live about miles in the couting from us and completely independent.

There are benefits and evil by living in Texas

Lance: Salt Lake Valley, where Salt Lake City resides, has about 2 million people, so we were living in a hurricane, and we felt busy. Life is slow in Justin.

The town has a small town, with a small sum of food and a few restaurants. We should call 15 or 20 minutes to Fort to do most of our purchases in places such as Costco or Walmart.

Our youngest son likes to live in Justin. She works at a grocery store, which is about half a mile from our house. However, our old-old son is taken for more time to get used to.

The greatest change we have seen since stimulating culture – it is very different. Justin varies greatly. Utah has many Mormon population, and when you are not part of that, it does not always feel you are installed.

The weather is very different from Texas, too. The Salt Lake City was very cool, and while warming in summer, there was no place next to the heating of Justin.

We started building a pool in December and completed the past few months, so we have our little Oasis behind the backyard to make heat.

Michelle: Another major difference in Texas is that you do not have to pay income. But the asset tax is high. Our house in Salt Lake City was larger 1,000 square meters over our home in Justin, but our property taxes are three times the amount.

Everything here is also distributed compared to what we used to. We lived on the southern edge of Salt Lake Valley and could take 25 minutes to get downtown in the city. When we go to Dallas from Justin – about 40 kilometers – it can take it anywhere from mid-two.

We are very happy than ever

Michelle: We remember our friends in Salt Lake City – We set some of the best friends, but we don’t plan to go back. They all went out to visit us, and we see them when we go back.

Our son is missing mountains in Utah, especially in the south. We have really good ideas everywhere, and based on the mountains, you can say that you are facing north, south, east, or west. All of it was good.

That means, accept our new home, and the local people have received us, too. We’ve started to make friends. Until we give groups in our house on a cool night, and it was good.

It is difficult for us to choose, but we all confess, we enjoy here on top.
